Targeted aesthetic treatment works to weaken the under-brow muscles, allowing the muscles above the brow to become more dominant, thereby resulting in a gentle upwards pull. As a result we create a subtle lift to the outer brow. If you are looking for non-invasive treatment to lift the brows and you are not ready for surgical brow lift offered by Dr Aggarwal, muscle relaxing wrinkle injections is your best option.
History-taking is very important in the treatment of injectable brow lifting. Our nurse might ask questions about family history, to check if there are others in the family who have brow dropping and it progress, or if they ever had any complications themself with eyelid droop or eyebrow droop.
Most of the time the best results are obtained with brow lifting if the crow’s feet are injected at the same time, crow’s feet wrinkling, also pulls down the brows, so treating this area will increase the result. The middle part of the brows may be lifted by injecting the procerus muscle and parts of the glabella area.
There are some patients who will be unsuitable. The closer a patient’s brows are to their orbital rim (the bone you can feel above your eyes), then the higher the risk of lid droop from this procedure.
Sometimes asymmetry will occur because one side just comes on quicker than the other. Usually it will right itself with the time. If it doesn’t, then it can be treated at least 3 weeks after the treatment was originally performed. Treating asymmetry too early could lead to droop or further asymmetry.
